Az oe24.at és a krone.at egyaránt azzal a főcímmel számolt be, hogy Alev Korun zöldpárti képviselő Ausztria menekültpolitikáját a holokauszthoz hasonlította. Az Österreichischer Presserat (Osztrák Sajtótanács) 1. szenátusa megállapította, hogy ez az Ehrenkodex (Becsületkódex) 2.1. pontjának megsértése, mivel mindkét lap hamisan tüntette fel Korun mondanivalójának lényegét. Korun eredeti tweetje az 1938-ban hamisított iratokkal menekülő zsidó menekülteket befogadó mai kormányokhoz hasonlította a jelenlegi kormányt, nem pedig magát a népirtást az osztrák menekültpolitikához.

Az Österreichischer Presserat 2023-ban a Die Presse ellen adott ki Rüge-t, mivel az az Ehrenkodex 3.1. pontját megsértve egy büntetőeljárás alatt álló személyről szóló cikkben a személyt közzétett fotóján egyértelműen azonosíthatóvá tette, anélkül, hogy az azonosíthatóság valódi közérdekű értéket hordozna.
“oe24-Berichterstattung über Sebastian Kurz (Serienberichterstattung 2016–2021)”
Az APA-Faktencheck megerősítette, hogy a krone.at és az oe24.at tévesen mutattak be egy FPÖ-s parlamenti gyűlésen született határozatot, azt állítva, hogy azt az ÖVP szavazatai nélkül fogadták el. A szavazási névsor – amelyet az Österreichisches Parlament honlapja tett közzé – azt mutatja, hogy mindkét párt megszavazta a vonatkozó indítványt.
